Re: COVID-19 Coronavirus

Dear Client,

As you are probably aware, the world is facing uncertain times with the pandemic of COVID-19 otherwise known as Coronavirus. Being part of the largest life science company in the world, Eurofins, and one of the UK leading Environmental testing laboratories, we feel it is only right we take appropriate action to contain the spread of COVID-19, Coronavirus.

We have therefore taken steps within our business to stop non-essential travel, we have asked staff to inform their line manager of any personal travel arrangements, particularly travel to those infected areas.

In addition, we have instigated daily briefing sessions with all staff, informing them of prevention measures to take, with all areas being thoroughly cleaned, twice daily, to reduce the risk of infection within our laboratories.

Taking guidance given by the UK Government, we are looking at options of staff working from home where possible, and have implemented shift patterns, and detailed continuity plans from our own suppliers, so we can continue to operate to the levels of service you have come to expect from Chemtest.

Whilst these proactive measures go some way to contain the spread of COVID-19/ Coronavirus, we do appreciate this is changing on an hourly/daily basis. Rest assured we are doing everything we can at all locations with risk assessments and continuity plans in place should the event of the laboratory being closed because of COVID-19, Coronavirus.

I hope this provides you with some reassurance that Chemtest is taking the necessary steps for the continuation of service, however we will provide further updates if required via our website, if you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact customer services 01638 606070, or via email cs.team@chemtest.com or directly to your regional account manager.

Thank you for your continued business to Chemtest.

Yours Sincerely

Alastair Wolff
